Decisions by the Supreme Court have a profound impact on our environment.  Could a future Court limit the federal government's power to protect our air and water from pollution that doesn't cross state lines?  Will it overturn key provisions of the Endangered Species Act?  Will it rule that the EPA can't set limits on toxic waste in our neighborhoods?

On September 6th, the Senate will begin hearings on the Roberts nomination.  His rulings will have an impact on every American, but only 18 Senators on the Judiciary Committee get the chance to ask questions.  We want to give you the chance to tell those Senators what questions Roberts must answer before his confirmation vote.

Send us your questions and LCV's highly respected congressional lobbying staff will deliver them to our allies on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The more questions we submit, the bigger impact we'll have.  A flood of questions from LCV supporters will remind Senators that the environment must not be forgotten in the confirmation process. Roberts is up for a lifetime appointment -- decades of interpreting our environmental laws -- and this is our LAST chance to ask him about his views.  While there's no guarantee Senators will ask the questions we submit, we can influence the process by making our voices heard.
